Fountain Good Choice Sauces Review

In our household we have six children – SIX FUSSY EATERS!!!
Not only are they all fussy eaters but they don’t like it when mum changes things up: especially when it comes to their normal products. I.e. their Sauce….

So when we were sent Fountains new Good Choice range of sauces to try and to review, I jumped at the opportunity to try mixing it up. With five different varieties of flavours in the Good Choice range: BBQ Sauce, Tomato Sauce, Soy Sauce, Sweet Chilli and a Hot Chilli Sauce they are suitable for the whole family.

BUT for me as a mum, the No ADDEDD SUGAR and GLUTEN FREE along with containing no artificial colours and flavours, this is a healthier option for my children’s bodies, so I was going to give it my best shot to change it up! Just because it’s healthy shouldn’t mean you have to compromise on taste and that was going to be the test with my family.

All in all the outcome was better than I had expected. At dinner time the sauces were placed on the table as per usual, dinner was served and they were straight into it. Not a peep was said, nobody noticed mum had switched the sauces for the GOOD CHOICE range. “WINNING” is my response after dinner.

The following night was tacos night (Soft Tacos because the kids prefer them).

Now my partner loves his chilli so it was time to put the Chilli sauces to the test with a grown man. His not silly he noticed there was two not one bottle a Sweet Chilli and a Hot Chilli: Already I’m winning because he has ‘variety’ (as he put it) tonight.
Again WINNING. In my partners words the Sweet Chilli still had the sweetness but his favourite the Hot Chilli – Josh loves a kick with his Chilli and he got just that. Both of the sauces were a hit and I was told to ADD them to the shopping list. (Come to speak of, there was not much of a price difference when adding them to my shopping trolley.)

So why were they not like your usual salt reduced and gluten free taste? The up side is they are sweetened with Natvia (excluding the salt reduced Soy). Natvia is a 100% natural sweetener, a healthy, natural alternative to artificial sweeteners and sugar. Hence the reason I was winning as a mum with the GOOD CHOICE RANGE.

I recommend that you can find these five new marvellous sauces located in the Health Food aisle in Woolworths OR if you are an online shopper like I am www.woolworths.com.au
And a little FYI the Fountain BBQ and Tomato 500mL squeeze sku’s also make a reduced salt claim!
